Abstract. In recent years a wide range of 3D multi sensor systems for various applications has been proposed. Each them its own benefits and limitations. This paper proposes modified unicycle with 2D laser profiler attached to the wheel axle, thus creating radial scanning pattern. novel low-cost device combines advantages wheeled equipment those wearable or hand-held devices. After presenting hardware setup integration, results are evaluated using four test scenarios terrestrial scanner comparison.
